Gangwon-do Province — It is a mountainous area located in the central part of the Korean Peninsula, facing the East Sea to the east, and is rich in potatoes, corn, squid, pollack, etc. Its major cities are Pyeongchang, Chuncheon, Gangneung, etc. It was promoted to 'Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province' in 2023.
