Gaemagowon Plateau — The highland located in Hamgyeong-do, or North Hamgyeong Province, of North Korea; the highest plateau in the Korean Peninsula, it is called the "Roof of the Korean Peninsula"; it is a wide wooded region with many hydraulic power plants.
