Meaning
Geumgang River — The river flowing from Jeollabuk-do, or North Jeolla Province, through the eastern region of Jeollabuk-do, or North Jeolla Province, and the southeastern region of Chungcheongbuk-do, or North Chungcheong Province, to the Yellow Sea; fields are developed around its midstream and downstream, which is why it became the center of Baekje culture.
