   Mongolia — A region located in the west of Manchuria and south of Siberia; it was the place of the Mongolian Empire that Jínghis Khan built in the north of mainland of China in the early 13th century; it was divided into inner and outer Mongolia during the the Ch’ing Dynasty; it is bordered by Russia in the north and China in the south.
