Yi Yulgok — A pen name for Yi I; a politician and scholar (1536-1584) of the Joseon Dynasty, and the son of Sin Saimdang, a female artist of the time; along with Yi Hwang, he is regarded as one of the most prominent Neo-Confucian scholars in Korea.
