   '-고서'에 비해 강조의 의미를 나타낼 때, 동사 또는 ‘-으시-’ 뒤에 붙여 쓴다.

   -goseoya — An expression used to stress that when the preceding statement becomes the condition, the situation mentioned in the following statement can occur only with great difficulty though its occurrence may be impossible.

   동사 또는 ‘아니다’에 붙여 쓰고, 주로 ‘-고서야 -을 수 없다’, ‘-고서야 -겠니?', '-고서야 -겠어?’로 쓴다.
